A team of German researchers have created an automatic landing system for small aircraft that lets them touch down not only without a pilot, but without any of the tech on the ground that lets other planes do it. It could open up a new era of autonomous flight — and make ordinary landings safer to boot.
Nomads travel to America’s Walmarts to stock Amazon’s shelves - The Verge
To stock Amazon’s shelves, nomadic merchants travel the backroads of America in search of rare soap and coveted toys. Some live in RVs and vans, driving to Walmarts and Targets and sending products to Amazon as they go.
This was such an interesting piece - I keep thinking about it.

Man goes biking, flips his bike, hits his head, gets knocked out and doesn't regain consciousness until sometime during the ambulance ride.
Apple Watch detects the fall, autodials 911 with his location and EMS has him picked up and in the hospital in <30 minutes.

I’ve discovered that a CEO’s job includes seeing a therapist and exec coach, going to the gym, and building meaningful peer relationships.
The successful startups are 10+ year marathons and you need a support structure to survive that long.
