Newsletter of Eric Friedman - Issue #6

Fun Around The Web
As many friends know I have a lot of NFTs. I collect things I like, and have no recs. for speculation - although some have done well. I can't honestly say I predicted any of them, just enjoy learning by doing. With that in mind there are two worth sharing.
My friend Barry got me looking at the Lucky Zero NFT collection. I really liked the art, and when they are huge like this, they look awesome. Look out for them on the screen behind me in a meeting in the near future :) I can't promise they will be worth anything, but hey who knows.
Onwards!
Tools I use
Thermo Watch for Nest Thermostat
Thermo Watch is an elegant Apple Watch app that provides the quickest way to adjust the Nest and Ecobee Thermostats anytime, anywhere. It also allows you to control your Nest using Siri.
I was searching for something like this for awhile and been using it everyday since. I can't believe its free and I now adjust our thermostats from my watch, phone, and mac often - I absolutely love it.

I am a biased investor in Unit, but I thought this summary was amazing from any startup I have seen - and +1 for being so public.
The Pixel Art Revolution Will Be Televised — www.wired.com Playing Chucklefish's Eastward is like coming home to a place I've never been before. After its 2018 reveal, I was immediately drawn to the game’s Zelda-like adventure elements, unusually colorful post-apocalyptic narrative, and motley crew of characters.
Hospitals Are in Serious Trouble — www.theatlantic.com When a health-care system crumbles, this is what it looks like. Much of what’s wrong happens invisibly. At first, there’s just a lot of waiting.
